Guardrail System on 45" (1.14 m) Tall Posts

45" tall StrapRail posts allow for the rapid installation of a 45" tall OSHA compliant guardrail with top rail, midrail, & toeboard.

Anti-Deflection Posts are rapidly attached to the 3 tensioned straps in order to stiffen the guardrail and prevent top rail deflection.

The installed guardrail can be overlaid with optional StrapRail debris netting, so as to provide a greater level of falling object protection.

 

Anchor Posts

Use any of the following 4 anchor posts to anchor the orange rail straps to structurally adequate elements of the building:

Guide Posts

Use the following 3 guide posts to stiffen the guardrail and prevent deflection of the top rail strap below the OSHA mandated height of 39” should workers lean or fall on the barrier.

ANTI DEFLECTION POST MIDWAY POST COLUMN POST
Anti-Deflection Posts must be installed every 10 ft (3 m). The span between any 2 StrapRail posts cannot exceed 10 ft.

Clamp post to the straps.

No drilling or bolting required.
  A Midway Post is required if the distance between 2 immoveable posts will exceed 50 feet.

Drill 4 holes in floor slab.

Bolt post to slab with 4 HILTI bolts.

  The Column Post is easily attached to an existing column using the 2 captive red ratchet straps.

Secure post to column with red straps.

No drilling or bolting required.

 

Debris Net

Prevents tools, materials and debris from falling through or blowing through the guardrail.

Rolls available in 2 lengths: • 39" x 100' (1 m x 30 m)
  • 39" x 200' (1 m x 60 m)
