Guide Posts

Use any of the following 3 posts to prevent outward and downward movement of the straps

ANTI DEFLECTION POST MIDWAY POST COLUMN POST
Anti-Deflection Posts must be installed every 10 ft (3 m) in order to stiffen the guardrail and prevent deflection of the straps below the OSHA mandated height of 39” when people lean or fall on the barrier.

Midway Posts are installed between Anchor Posts to prevent outward and downward movement of the guardrail system.

Column posts can be used to guide the straps, maintain their height, and prevent top rail deflection.
