Each Strap Kit contains all the components needed for 1 rail member. A rail member could be the Top Rail, Midrail, Toeboard, or Overhead Strap:

• 1 x Orange Rail Strap (100' x 4") with velcro storage band (other lengths available: 25' - 50' - 75')
• 1 x Orange Ratchet Strap (4' x 4") with velcro storage band
• 2 x Steel Quick Links
• 1 x Brass Padlock for the Ratchet (all padlocks are keyed alike)
• 1 x Carry Bag

3 Strap Kits are needed to build either a 45" tall guardrail or a 94" tall barrier.

StrapRail^® is a safety product, so the greatest care has been taken in sourcing the best webbing and hardware. The webbing is woven in Canada using UV resistant yarn which confers a projected life of 10 years. The straps are sewn on our computerized sewing machines which produce a consistently reliable stitch pattern.

The product has undergone extensive testing to ensure that it meets or exceeds North American guardrail standards. Visit our videos page to see some of the tests.

Every orange strap and every blue strap contains an embedded Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) chip.

The chip in the strap can be scanned with a handheld scanner, in order to obtain its complete history. Scanners can be purchased from FIELD ID.

Customers are issued a password and user name which allow them to access the web based inspection log (click the FIELD ID Logo, located at the bottom of this page). The log contains the following information:

• the date of manufacture
• the name of the purchasing company
• date of purchase
• Inspection history and strap history
• Serial number for the label

Data Access Methods

There are 3 ways to access & update a strap's information on the web based inspection log:

1. Scan the RFID chip system with a chip scanner
2. Scan the bar code on the printed strap label
3. Use the serial number on the printed strap label

The image at left shows the location of the embedded RFID chip in the sewing pattern, as well as the printed polyester label.

Allows quick reeling of 100' (30 m) straps.

Very useful for winding up any length of StrapRail strapping.

Use the built-in hook to help support the winder as you wind up the strap.

Store the loose ends of the tensioned orange straps in the pouch. This will prevent workers from tripping on the surplus strap.

On a 45" tall guardrail , install the pouch on the midrail strap.

On a 94" tall screened barrier, install the pouch on the top rail strap.

Breathable orange vinyl mesh pouch allows the wet straps to dry.
